TOGETHER WE CAN

Texas Institute for Surgery staff delivered a truckload of toys to patients at Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children during the holiday season along with a monetary donation. The effort to make a brighter Christmas for the children was led by the surgical hospital’s Retention Committee.

“I did not count the number of toys, but the back of a pickup was packed with them,” said Jack Martin, Administrative Services Director. Martin was accompanied by TIS employees Katie McCoy, Lenora Jones, Latasha Alford, Carolyn Pickens, Debbie Hay, and Adriane Wilson.

TSRHC treats Texas children with orthopedic conditions, such as scoliosis, clubfoot, hand disorders, hip disorders and limb length differences, as well as certain related neurological disorders and learning disorders, such as dyslexia.
