Dr. Pablo Zeballos

Dr. Zeballos is a Fellowship trained Pain Management physician who utilizes his extensive background in musculoskeletal medicine to diagnose the etiology of the patient’s pain and his expertise in the latest interventional techniques to treat all facets of pain. Dr. Zeballos completed his residency training in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at U.T. Southwestern Medical Center and then followed with additional training for a Fellowship in Pain Management through the Department of Anesthesiology & Pain Management at U.T. Southwestern Medical Center. Dr. Zeballos' treatment philosophy takes into consideration that in order to be successful in treating his patient’s chronic pain, the patient has to take a proactive approach and therefore become part of a team approach to manage the pain. Dr. Zeballos will use all conservative treatment modalities including Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Aquatic Therapy, Rehabilitation, Behavioral Therapy (hypnosis, biofeedback, pain coping skills), and coadjuvant pain medications as needed. If no significant improvement is noted in the patient’s pain complaints, then he may pursue non-surgical interventional procedures with the latest state of the art technology to help alleviate the pain and treat the cause of the pain Some of the interventional procedures that Dr. Zeballos offers his patients include: Lumbar, thoracic and cervical epidural steroid injections Selective Nerve Root Block/TFESI Sympathetic ganglion blocks Caudal epidural steroid injection with or without catheters Facet joint injections Medial branch blocks Diagnostic Nerve Blocks Sacroiliac joint injection Vertebroplasty & Kyphoplasty Radiofrequency Ablation Spinal cord stimulation (trial and permanent implant) Discography Intradiscal Electrothermal Therapy (IDET) Biacuplasty (Transdiscal radiofrequency) Nucleoplasty/Disc Decompression
